Fantasy Football Starts and Sits Week 3

Week 2 in the fantasy world saw some players get hot for the waiver wire. I hope you have been active in your pursuit this week. Are you ready for week 3? Here are the starts and sits for your fantasy team.

Start Em

Quarterback

Trevor Siemian – The Broncos are playing good football. The Bills traded away their defense. Siemian is a must pick up and start.

Running Back

Carlos Hyde – The Rams got roasted on the ground last week. Shanahan will use that to his advantage.

Wide Receiver

DeVante Parker – Plain and simple, the Dolphins play the Jets!

Tight End

Jack Doyle – Jacoby Brissett makes the Colts offense a little more passing friendly. Last week Doyle was his top target. 8 catches on 8 targets for 80 yards.

Kicker

Chris Boswell – Steelers should move the ball pretty well against the Bears. He will have ample opportunity to put the ball through the uprights.

Defense

Philadelphia Eagles – Simply put, the Giants offense is inept after two weeks. The Eagles pass rush should get to Eli Manning quite a bit.

Sit Em

Quarterback

Eli Manning – You probably are not playing him anyway after the first two weeks, but a matchup against the Eagles does not help.

Running Back

Leonard Fournette – A game across the pond against one of the best defenses during the first two weeks spells sit down for the rookie.

Wide Receiver

Amari Cooper – The Redskins pass defense has been surprisingly good. I would play Cooper with caution against Josh Norman and Co.

Tight End

Tyler Eifert – This game could get out of hand early and we may even see AJ McCarron. Sit Eifert.

Kicker

Kai Forbath – His performance depends on Sam Bradford. Not knowing his availability makes me sit Forbath.

Defense

Detroit Lions – They have been a hot ticket item the first two weeks. They face a little tougher offense in week 3.

I hope you have been hitting the waiver wire. Championships are not won at the draft, they are won on the wire. Good Luck!!
