Week 5 Start'em/Sit'em

Week 4 is in the books. I hope that you were successful in your endeavors. If not, the season is getting tight and so maybe your collar. Be sure to keep an eye on the waiver wire and make your moves. Lets get you ready for week 5.
Start Em
Quarterback
Carson Wentz. Wentz has scored 19 or more fantasy points in 2 of his first 3 games. His opponent, the Lions, have given up the second most fantasy points to the position, 24.5 PPG.
Running Back
Todd Gurley. Gurley has yet to prove he was worth the first overall pick or a first round pick period. However, that could change this week against Buffalo. The Bills have given up 23 plus fantasy pts to 2 out of 4 #1 backs this season.
Wide Receiver
New York Giants. You are going to see a commitment to the pass this week against Green Bay. The Giants do not have a running game. Along with this, the Packers secondary is banged up. They are giving up 3rd most FPPG to WRs, 30.43.
Tight End
Cameron Brate. The TE is the way you beat the Panthers. If you are able to have a big TE who has good hands he can be valuable in this game. In what could be become a shootout, I would start Brate!
Kicker
Mason Crosby. Through 4 games the Giants have allowed the most points to kickers, 11.7 FPPG. This makes Crosby a must start in your lineup.
Defense
Pittsburgh Steelers. Ryan Fitzpatrick has 9 INTs in the last 2 games. There is no talk of Geno Smith either. Look for a solid repeat performance of the Steelers defense.
Sit Em
Quarterback
Matt Ryan. He is owned in over 90% of leagues. However, he is only being played in 35%. Keep him on your bench this week against the Denver defense.
Running Back
Rashad Jennings. The New York Giants cannot run the football. That coupled with playing against the best fantasy run defense, 9 FPPG, makes Jennings a sit.
Wide Receiver.
Terrelle Pryor. He is by far the number one option in Cleveland. However, the Patriots have been tough on opposing receivers. This week I am keeping Pryor on the bench.
Tight End
Dennis Pitta. Pitta is becoming a quality target for Joe Flacco. However, this is not a good week to play him. The Redskins may not be good against the run but they are against tight ends, 4.8 FPPG to the position.
Kicker
Nick Novack. Novak has been one of the higher scoring kickers in the league, 11 FPPG. This week the Texans play the Vikings. Do not look for that type of output for the kicker.
Defense
New York Giants. This high priced defense are 29th in the league in FPPG. If that does not turn you away from them, this name might; Aaron Rodgers.
Week 5 is a must win if you are behind in your league. If you do not, start scouting for next season.
Good luck!
